- We went to the school Skating party with the new owners of "Skate America".
- Bella went to Pre-Teen night at the YMCA for the first time.
- Dad treated me and the girls to McDonald's on Sunday.
- Church unveiled the new Preschool worship room that Lilly has class in.
Thur - 1/29 - Nothing much happened during the day. In the evening Bella and I went to her school skating party. It was our first time at the rink since it changed owners and it was really a lot nicer. But the prices on the food was a lot higher, so that's something to keep in mind while budgeting.
Fri - 1/30 - It was cold today, but Lilly and I got out to the bank and the library. And in the evening Bella played with Julia most of the night. Then at 7:30 she came home and asked to go to Pre-Teen night at the YMCA with Julia. It's from 8-10pm on Friday nights during the school year for 7-12 year-olds. It only costs $6 per event, and she can swim, play sports like racquetball and basketball and hang out with other kids there. We let her go and she had a lot of fun and has asked to go again.
Sat - 1/31 - This morning was normal with catching up on the laundry and talking to Pat via Skype. The girls got baths while Ross went and bought some new dress shoes. Then Bella played with Julia for a bit and came back home to hang out later. After dinner Bella was off to Julia's for a sleepover and so the rest of us went to see Elijah and Moe/Joe/Nate/Mom at Moe's house. We only visited for a bit, but it was nice to hold and feed the baby.
Sun - 2/1 - Bella came home just before 10am and we went to church where they had their unveiling of the new Preschool Worship room. Lilly is in that class and had a blast. Afterwards Dad, who had went to the 11:00 service, went to McDonald's with us to eat. He even treated, which was sweet. Then he came over to hang out with us for a bit. Ross was gaming today, so he wouldn't be home until later. Bella went off to play at Julia's again around 4:20. And was back for dinner. Then Ross came home and the kids went off to bed as usual.
Mon - 2/2 - Lilly woke up at 3:30 asking for more juice. Then she never really went back to sleep (and neither did I) and was coughing around 4:30. So I just went ahead and woke her up for the day. So we didn't do much except a few things around the house and around 2pm I made her lay down for a nap, which thankfully she went down for with no problem. I also got a nap. We woke up and found out some sad family news (too private to share details here) so I was in a sad mood for the evening.
Tues - 2/3 - Today was weird all around. Lilly and I did some cleaning in the morning. We cleaned up Bella's room and vacuumed and then did the same for the living room. Ross came home after lunch because he was supposed to have a doctor's appointment but that got cancelled. I was supposed to have a meeting at church but it got moved to tomorrow. So we hung out with Lilly together for a bit and then Lilly and I went over to Melissa's because they needed to use my dolly to move their old washer to the curb since it was trash night. Lilly got to play with Nate and I got to hold and feed Eli, so that was fun. In the evening we had Marco's because it was Dine to Donate night with South and we got most of Bella's homework for the week done.
Wed - 2/4 - We had a normal morning getting things done around the house, giving Lilly a bath and preparing for Gospel Project at home. Then I had a meeting for the kids ministry at church at 1:30. Lilly took "Frozen" and watched that while we had the meeting and then we set up the Gospel Project stuff at church and headed home just in time to get Bella off the bus. Then she got a bath, Ross made dinner and we ate. And lastly Bella and I went to church for Gospel Project and headed home exhausted.
