Thur 1/8 - Bella had a 2 hour delay because of extremely cold temps.
Fri - 1/9 - School was back to normal today. I took Lilly to the doctor because her nose had been running all week and she developed a congested cough. It was nice to visit our doctor's new office. Lilly liked the 3 TVs playing in the waiting room. Turns out she only has a cold and the start of an earache in her left ear so she got some antibiotics and that was it. She weighed 44.8 lbs and was 43 inches tall. I am under the weather too so we spent the afternoon relaxing.
Sat - 1/10 - We spent the morning doing laundry and tidying up. Bella woke up stuffy with the same cold Lilly and I have. Skyped with Pat at 11 and then we went to Mom's house to have lunch and play games. We brought a bunch of games with us and the kids had fun playing them. We left before dinner because that's always when the kids get grouchy on Saturday and our car ride home was proof of that. But we made burgers at home and the kids settled down. Then it was baths and off to bed. Around 9 we skyped with Sarah and Jason for a while and caught up with them.
Sun - 1/11 - Since both girls were still feeling sick I went to church on my own after Ross completed the grocery shopping. We spent the afternoon relaxing and getting Bella through a big chunk of her homework for the week. It's due Friday, but it's easier if we get most of it done the prior weekend. Then Dad came over around 5ish to hang out and visit while Belinda is working. Later in the evening I cooked sugar cookies following this recipe and they turned out pretty well.
Mon - 1/12 - Back to the normal week today. I got up early and cleaned before the girls woke up, but Lilly was still up early at 7:40. She was good all day though. We went to the library to get some new books for bedtime and then we came home to watch a new show on tv called "Little Charmers". Nate came to visit after he got out of pre-school because Mom had to go to work and Melissa had a doctor's appointment. Melissa picked him up at 5 and we had dinner. Lilly got a bath while Bella worked on homework.
Tues - 1/13 - Today was pretty relaxed. My ankle has been hurting so I had to rest it a little but that gave me more time to play with Lilly. We played babies today which is always fun. I also made some more sugar cookies for no reason other than they are delicious. After dinner I went to the PTC meeting and took lots of notes and signed up to help at Movie night.
Wed - 1/14 - I got some stuff done around the house and then Lilly and I went to church for a couple of hours to set up for the evenings Gospel Project class. Lilly managed to get her head stuck in one of the doorway rails but she got out without anything more than a little soreness. It was scary for a minute though. We came back home and I took a nap on the couch after lunch while she watched some shows. It was helpful to rest my foot for that time. And then in the evening we had dinner and Bella and I were off to church.
