- We switched from Time Warner Cable to Fioptics.
- Ross took Bella on her field trip to Fernald.
- I finally got to wear contacts again.
- Bella went to pre-teen night with her friend, Laila.
- For Mother's day I got a homemade purse from Bella and a new Tervis cup that both kids picked out.
- I played volleyball with some of the family.
- We had a celebration at Emily and Jason's new house for Mother's Day, Brynna and Jason's birthdays and their housewarming.
- Lilly got 5 vaccination shots.
- We got to visit with Mom, Eli and Nate on Tuesday.
Thursday - Today we switched to using Cincinnati Bell's new Fioptics. It was a pretty smooth transition and the workers were only here 2 hours (they had warned me it could take up to 6). Lilly and I enjoyed a day at the house for the first time this week. I think we were both tired of running around. But in the evening after dinner I went and bought Mom's mother's day present and a few other things. It was nice to get out by myself.
Friday – Today was a weird day. Ross took off work so he could chaperone those school field trip at Fernald. It is now I nature preserve instead of a uranium plant. Lilly and I just did things around the house in the morning including entering more names to the VBS registry. Ross got home about 1:30. Lilly and I went to Dr. Hogue's to pick up the new contacts that I'm finally allowed to wear. Then we went to church and worked on posters for VBS while Lilly played with Olivia and Madylin. Then we got home about the same time Bella got off the bus. Julia came over and took Bella to play. So Lilly and I went to the library. Then I cooked dinner and Bella came home and we all had a nice meal together. Then Ross went and bought a new lawnmower and Bella's friend Laila came and picked her up to take her to preteen night at the YMCA. I put Lily to bed and Ross and I were able to relax and watch shows. Then Bella came home at 10 and we all decided it was time for bed.
Saturday – today the girls gave me a purse made from construction paper that had keys a phone and lipstick and it. It was really cute and mostly made by Bella and I love it. Then I sent Ross out for donuts from donut spot. The girls got a bath and then we Skype with Pat. Then we had lunch and mom brought me over for a little bit because he was between pictures and his baseball game. After that Ross and the girls went to bed bath and beyond to buy me a new Tervis cup. I went to Kroger's and Hallmark to get the rest of the things needed for tomorrow's party. At home they gave me my new Tervis cup – one with flowers and the pink lid and pink handle. Then I watch the rest of the Princess bride that I'd started the other day. And then I took an hour and a half nap. In the evening I left Ross to put the kids to bed and went to Emily's house because Jason and Sarah are in and they are staying there since there's no longer a guest bed at Dad's house. We played some volleyball and then Belinda, Sarah, Emily and I went to Dad's house to get some of the things that they are taking with them in their move. And then it was back to Emily's to hang out until it was late.
Sunday - Ross went grocery shopping as usual and the kids and I had a good morning. Then we headed to church and afterwards I got them a little snack from McDonald's to tide them over until the party. Ross cooked the corn on the cob and we went to Emily's house with our various presents. We were celebrating Mother's day, Brynna and Jason's birthdays and a housewarming for Emily and Jason. It was fun and the kids played really well together, mostly in Emily's back yard. Later I took Ross home because he was worn out, but then I came back so we could visit longer. Then eventually we came home and ate some leftovers for dinner and put the kids to bed.
Monday - Lilly had to get some vaccinations today, so we headed to the doctor at 10. She had to get 5 shots. She wasn't thrilled with it, but she did a good job and didn't cry too much. Then afterwards we came home and had lunch. Then I took her to Flubs for a treat and to Staples to get some paper I'd ordered for VBS stuff. Then back to home to do stuff. I took a little nap before Ross got home, but then I cooked dinner while Bella played with Julia and Lilly and Ross chilled in the living room.
Tuesday - Lilly and I went to Moe's to hang out with Nate/Mom/Eli. It was fun and I chilled with Eli and Lilly when Mom took Nate to school. Then we came home to do stuff around the house. In the evening I had a PTC meeting so Ross had to drop Bella off at gymnastics and then I picked her up afterwards.
Wednesday - Early in the morning while Ross was at the gym I went out and pulled weeds in the front yard. It was a good workout. Then later after Bella was off to school Lilly and I went to church and set up for Gospel Project and got some stuff done for VBS. Then we went to Kroger so Lilly could get some broccoli, which she loves! Then back at home I worked all afternoon on putting stickers on frisbees so that we could give them away at Friday's movie night. In the evening I took the girls to church for classes and Ross mowed the front lawn.
