- I helped Mom cut down a bush in her yard.
- I ran the star card cart again while Mom watched Lilly.
- Bella went to the YMCA pre-teen night again.
- I got to go to Barnes & Noble and get some new books!
- Lilly & Bella went to a tea party birthday for Sofia and Olivia.
- Ross took the kids to Wendy's for lunch on Sunday.
- We went as a family to the Fairfield Arts Fair and saw Bella's creations.
- We dropped off over 700 cookies and 4000 VBS flyers to 5 local schools.
- Ross had a routine colonoscopy.
- Ross and I got to eat at Frisch's by ourselves!
The Details:
Thursday - Dad came over in the morning to get some of the boxes we had to help with their move. Then Mom had asked me to come and help her cut down some bushes. So Lilly and I went over there for the afternoon. We ended up only cutting down one bush, but then she wanted to mow the grass, so I did the push mowing while she rode and Lilly played on the swing-set. It was a nice day for all that work.
Friday – Mom came over with Nate and Eli and picked up Lily so I could go to Bella's school. There I ran the star card cart. Then I drove over to Melissa's house and picked up Lily and we went to church to pick up the VBS flyers that need to be cut. Then we came home and I cut them while she relaxed. We had a normal evening and Bella wanted to go to preteen night at the YMCA so I dropped her off there and headed to Barnes & Noble to buy some books. Afterwards I pick Bella up at 10 and we started reading Harry Potter together..
Saturday – The girls slept in and then we wrapped presents for Sophia and Olivia's birthday party.. We Skype with Pat and then the girls had a bath to get ready. Ross want to see the Age of Ultron movie while the girls and I headed up to Middletown and went to Sophie and Olivia's tea party birthday. It was really cute and the girls both tried the tea but didn't care for it so opted for lemonade. After that we headed home and had some dinner . Then Bella and Ross walked to Kroger to get some supplies will Lilly and I played a game at home. Then for the rest of the night I baked three batches or 12 dozen chocolate chip cookies. These are for passing out to teachers on Monday. Late in the evening when I was trying to leave Lilly's room I fell backwards onto her baby bed and crushed it.
Sunday – Ross went to the store early so I could go to church at 9 AM and make signs for the cookie drop off. Then I came back and got the children and we headed to church. Ross pick the kids up after church and took them to Wendy's so I could work with Kasia on the cookies. Then I came home and have some lunch and the kids and Ross came home. Then we went to the Fairfield arts fair. We saw two of Bella's pictures and some of our friends and families pictures. Later Bella played with Julia and Lilly join them. I also fell tonight in our toy room. Two falls, two days in a row! I am a sore mess.
Monday - I met Kasia and Kristi at church early this morning. Then I put together 6 pans of cookies for the schools we were delivering them too. We got the flyers for VBS ready too and Kasia and I delivered them to South, West and Central Elementaries while Kristi stayed behind watching all of our girls at church. Then we rested in the afternoon and got stuff done around the house. In the evening it was bath and homework time and I got some more supplies to make more cookies because we'll need more for Wednesday!.
Tuesday - Today Ross had a routine colonoscopy scheduled and so Mom came over to get the girls up and Bella on the bus. Then she took Lilly to UBC with her to help with Caring and Sharing and Lilly was good so she got to pick out a toy (a new-to-us play kitchen). After Ross's surgery we grabbed lunch at Frisch's and then I dropped him off at home to rest and picked up Lilly from Mom's. In the evening we worked on bella's homework and then played and I made some more cookies before and after Bella's gymnastics class.
Wednesday - Lilly and I spent a lot of time out today. We went to church at 10 to get more cookies and flyers together. Then we went with Kasia and her daughter Grace to 2 local schools to drop them off. Then we went to McDonald's to eat, and dropped Grace off at her school. Then I stopped by a bank for Kasia to make a deposit and afterwards she treated us to Flubs. We had to stop by the house for a potty break and then we were back at church to set up for Gospel Project. In the evening we were short people (had 2 at first when we normally have 6). So it was crazy, but we made it through.
