- I watched Nate and Eli a couple of times while Mom was out of town.
- We had our first movie night of the year in Village green and we passed out our VBS information.
- We got a visit from the Kingreys.
- We started cleaning the garage for the yard sale.
- Lilly had her first dentist appointment.
- We got our new canopy!
Thursday – Mom brought Nate and Eli over this morning and hung out with me until it was time to take Nate to school. Then I watched Eli until Melissa brought him back home from school. But her ear was hurting so she went to the doctor and I kept the boys for another hour or so. Lilly loves playing with Nate. Mom, after dropping Nate off, left for Myrtle Beach for a week.
Friday – This morning Nate and Melissa and Eli arrived around 7:15. They brought donuts for breakfast. The Melissa went off to work while I watched the boys. Dad picked Nate up at 12:15 to take him to his graduation where Melissa was meeting them. Then I kept Eli and Lilly of course until Melissa returned from Nate's graduation. In the evening it was movie in the park night at Fairfield Village Green. They showed Big Hero Six but we were mostly there to promote for VBS this year. It was a lot of fun and there were a lot of kids.
Saturday – This morning we didn't do much because we were so wiped out from this week. We didn't Skype because Pat is in the hospital to get some antibiotics through an IV for her lung issues. Then in the afternoon we were supposed to watch the Kingrey kids but when Stephanie got over here with them she said that the job that she and Jason were supposed to do at a friends house was mostly done so she stayed here with us and visited until Jason came. And they both stayed about another hour and then went off to do their own things. In the evening we just chilled out at home and played outside.
Sunday – During church Ross baked a honey apple cake because it's world baking day. The girls and I came home and they had their McDonald's and I had lunch and then I got a taste of the cake. It was delicious! In the afternoon Ross and I started working on the garage cleanup in preparation for our future yard sale. It was very humid and it started raining finally while we were doing that. Bella played with Julia a good portion of the afternoon and Lilly just chilled out and right around the yard.
Monday - Today Lilly and I played together and hung out at home to catch up on laundry and other things. But then at noon Lilly had her first dentist appointment. She did really well. She was a bit scared once she was in the chair but she was very brave and was happy to come out with a new toothbrush, stickers, a fake tatoo and some flossers. Ross took his cake to work today and let his coworkers enjoy it, but he also was able to bring some leftovers home to share too. Yummy! In the evening we played and Bella got to play with Julia for a while. And I got a bit more done for the yard sale.
Tuesday - Lilly and I had a good day mostly. We went to the bank. And then we tried to go on a walk. She wanted to bring the stroller, but promised she'd walk some. That lasted a little while but she ended up not wanting to walk so I think we won't ever bring the stroller again. She was a bit grouchy in the afternoon, but we still got some stuff done for the yard sale. In the evening we had dinner and then Bella went to gymnastics. While she was there I went and picked up the gift for her friend Chloe's birthday party on Saturday.
Wednesday - Lilly and I went to church and set up for G.P. Then we came home and rested. We also got our new canopy in the mail. Ross and I tested it and it looks like it will work wonderfully. In the evening we had church as usual.
