- Ross and I had a date night while Mom kept both girls overnight.
- I watched Micah and Molly during the day on Monday.
- I looked into possibly doing our taxes online.
Thurs - Feb 26 - We had a fairly normal day, cleaning up, resting and tidying up. In the evening was Bella's skating party and Ross took her since I wasn't feeling great and I wanted to spend some evening time with Lilly.
Fri - Feb 27 - The day was normal, Lilly and I went to the bank and to the grocery. Then Mom came and got the girls when Bella got home from school to take them overnight. Ross and I went to Mitchell's Fish Market for dinner, then we went to the Sleep Number Bed store. It doesn't sound romantic, but we're definitely in the market for a new bed and we were sold on these once we tried them. We just need to save up for a while to get one. Then we headed over to Barnes and Noble to look at books for a while. We had a great time there. Afterwards we stopped at Kroger to pick up some random stuff and some treats for ourselves. And we grabbed a movie - St. Vincent - to watch. We watched half and then crashed.
Sat - Feb 28 - We woke up and finished St. Vincent, which was great. And then at 11 I went and picked up the kids from Mom. She enjoyed having them but was ready for a break. We didn't do much the rest of the day but play and chill out. I did manage to play in the basement for a while and get it cleaned up.
Sun - Mar 1 - It snowed overnight so they cancelled the first service at church. So the girls and I went for second service. Afterwards we grabbed McDonalds as usual. Ross's game was cancelled because someone is sick so he was home all day. We didn't do much, just played and watched TV and movies. And I tried to catch up on my reading. Bella also started taking her Lego apart in order to build a big house with it all.
Mon - Mar 2 - Today I watched our friends to little ones, Micah and Molly. They were great and get along really well with Lilly. The only problem was that they had a few potty accidents while they were here. But we made it through the day and had lots of fun otherwise. In the evening we just did homework and hung out.
Tues - Mar 3 - Today Lilly and I hung out and rested. In the afternoon my mom visited for a little bit and encouraged me to start looking into preschools for the fall. I am looking at two right now and I set up a visit with one of them for Thursday. In the evening it was more hanging out and homework. We got a call from the schools telling us that we might have an early dismissal tomorrow because of the weather.
Wed - Mar 4 - I looked into doing our taxes online instead of with an accountant. Still not sure which I'll choose yet, but it is something I'll need to figure out soon. Lilly and I set up at church early and Ross came home early because of an impending snow storm. But the snow didn't start until we were at church around 7pm. Though it was pretty bad once it hit. I was glad we live so close to church.
