The details:

Thurs - Apr 2 - Today the girls and I played indoors and out. At 11 Dad and B came over to watch the girls while I went to the eye doctor for a checkup. Turns out my eyes aren't healing as well as he'd like so he switched my drops and I am still in glasses for a while. Ugh. Dad and B bought McDonalds for all of us for lunch which was sweet of them! We enjoyed and chatted for a while before they had to go. Then the girls played outside for a while. It rained and Bella went with the neighbor, Julia, to her house while Lilly played out in the rain for a bit. Then she got in the sand and made a mess so I put her in the bath. After that Ross came home and Mom and Melissa met me here so we could go out. We had Captain D's together for dinner and then it was off to Cheers to Art to paint an "I love the Reds" painting. It was Mom's first time there and she really enjoyed it. We had a good time and got a cute painting out of it. Then we stopped by Kroger to buy some more stuff needed for Easter weekend.

Fri - Apr 3 - Today the girls and I started preparing for Easter. In the morning we filled 98 Easter eggs together for Dad's house's egg hunt. Then we painted our nails so that they would look good for Sunday. Then at 3:30 we went to Mom's house for her Easter celebration. We let the kids play outside so that we could start the dinner cooking, but then we let them have their egg hunt inside. They had a lot of fun. Then it was dinner time and we had ham, corn, green beans, baked potatoes and rolls. It was delicious!! Then Mom gave the kids their baskets. Lilly got a Frozen board game and a soccer ball and a new shirt. Bella got a new Lego kit, and a bouncy ball, and a new shirt as well. And last we had a delicious apple pie homemade by Mom. It was sooooo good.

Sat - Apr 4 - Today was a typical busy day at our house. The kids slept in a bit but finally got up and we gave them their Easter baskets. They got Hot Stamps (glitter shapes for their hair), the new Barbie Super Hero movie and each got a new barbie - the super hero one of course. And lots of eggs/chocolates! I ran to the bank and then we skyped with Pat. Afterwards Bella and I went to Target to shop for Livi and Levi's birthdays as well as Bella's friend Laila's birthday. She was also there to buy herself a new doll that she had saved up for. She was so proud to do it. While we were there we ran into Emily, Brynna and Livi and so they helped us pick out the gifts for Livi and Levi. After that we went home and hung out. Mom came over in the early evening and we dyed eggs together. Then the girls had baths and headed soon to bed. Then I got a text that said Sarah and Jason had come to town on a whim. So I went and joined them at Dad's house for the evening. It was a fun surprise!

Sun - Apr 5 - It's Easter! The girls and I got dressed up and got Ross to take our picture before church. Church was good and we had a lower number than expected in the 2-3's class, so that was a relief. After church we did McDonald's as we always do for lunch and the person in front of us paid for our meal! It was so sweet. Then at 4 we headed over to Dad and B's for the family party. We played, then ate and then came the Easter Egg Hunt. It was so cute watching everyone try to get eggs! Sarah and Jason had to leave after that, but we were glad that they got to come at all. :) Then we had a birthday celebration for Livi and Levi. They had a great time and got lots of cute stuff! Afterwards it was back home to get ready for school tomorrow.

Mon - Apr 6 - Today was back to the grind. Bella did pretty well with getting up and going, so I was proud of that. Lilly and I spent the day catching up on things. I finally got our federal and state taxes signed and electronically filed. Yay! Lilly got her bath during the day and Bella right after school and then she went to go hang out with Julia until dinner and after dinner. Then at 7 we had to take both girls with us to the eye doctor because Ross and I both had appointments. My eyes are unfortunately no better than they were last Thursday, so I'm switching up my drops to only the wetting ones all day long. Hopefully it helps.

Tues - Apr 7 -Today we got stuff done around the house and then Lilly and went to make copies of my W-2's at the library. Afterwards we went to Fairfield's Income tax building. While we were there this lady was going crazy and getting mad because one of the workers said she'd have to pay back taxes for the last few years. She was getting belligerent and really mean to the lady. Finally they asked her to step back and sit down and thankfully there happened to be a police officer at the office and he talked to her, but she wouldn't calm down so they asked her to leave. The officer followed her to make sure she was gone. Craziness!  After that I got our FF taxes filed and paid for and we were on our way. We went to Payless because Lilly needed new tennis shoes and new sandals that would work well for Kings Island this summer (shoes that had good tread, but were still sandals so they would be cool for the hot pavement). We got Frozen tennis shoes and she loves them and her new sandals too. Ross took a half day because he was feeling bad and so when Bella got home I ordered our Marco's pizza (for Dine to Donate night at Fairfield South) and I took the girls with me to pick it up. It was delicious as usual. And finally the girls got to play and relax.

Wed - Apr 8 - Today I got Lilly a bath and did laundry and in the afternoon we went to church to set up for GP. Then in the evening she surprised me by saying she wanted to go with Bella and I to church and she went right into her class and had a good time. The only bad part of the night was when we were going home. It was lightening and thundering and Bella was really scared of it. So that was rough, but we got home and everyone went to bed and all was right in our little area of the world. :)
