May 28 - June 2

Notable things that happened this week:

• We bought flip-flops and new bathing suits for both girls for summer!
• We had our first family trip to Kings Island with Mom, Moe, Nate and Eli. 
• Bella and I joined people at church to pass out doorhangers for VBS. 
• Bella went to KI again with Kasia and her family!
• Sarah came home for good and we went to see Pitch Perfect 2 with Lacey!
• We had people over to discuss Gospel Project curriculum on Sunday.   

The details:

Thursday - We went to Lilly's gymnastics class today. She had a rough time there, but eventually started to have fun. Then I took the girls to buy flipflops at Old Navy. We ended up getting each girl a new bathing suit as well. Then we came home and played in the sprinkler. 

Friday - Today Bella, Lilly and I joined Mom, Melissa, Nate and Eli for a day at Kings Island. We were there for 6.5 hours! And I got terribly sunburned, but we had a good time and got to ride lots of things. 

Saturday - Bella and I went to church and we passed out doorhangers with people to promote VBS. Then Kasia and her family were going to Kings Island and they invited Bella to join them. So she was gone most of the day. I went to Dad's old house getting his chainsaw and getting back my luggage he had borrowed. Then Ross worked on using the chainsaw on the tree in the front yard while Lilly played in the sprinkler. In the evening we went to Perkins for dinner and then I got Bella from the Johnsons. Late in the evening I went to see Sarah and Lacey and went to see Pitch Perfect 2 and then went back to the Murray's house because that's where Sarah is staying until her house deal comes through. We played euchre with Jason and then after Jason was off to bed, and Lacey went home Sarah and I played Phase 10. 

Sunday - Bella and I went to church while Lilly stayed home with Ross. After church a bunch of people were over for a half hour to get Gospel Project curriculum and to discuss summer vacations. But they left and then Ross took Bella to see "Tomorrowland" while Lilly and I stayed home and played. In the evening we did more work on the yard sale. 

Monday - Today I spent time putting price stickers on things for the yard sale. Then the girls and I went to Kroger to get a prescription and to USBank. Then in the afternoon Melissa, Nate and Eli came over to bring some stuff for the yard sale and to visit. In the evening we just played and had dinner as usual.

Tuesday - We spent time cleaning up around the house in the morning and getting the girls baths. Then we went to the library in the early afternoon and got a ton of books. Bella started reading "Dork Diaries" and was nearly 100 pages in by bedtime. Then at five Bella started a new gymnastics class that focuses only on tumbling. She enjoyed it and Lilly hung out with me in the waiting room while she was doing it. After we got home and had dinner, Dad, B, Sarah, Andy, Rosie, Caroline, Melissa, Nate, Eli and Mom all came over to drop off yard sale items. It was a bit hectic, but a good time still.
